I am a self taught contemporary artist known for my use of bold colours in both portraiture & wildlife. I love creating pieces that evoke emotion & energy. When choosing each subject to paint I put a lot of thought into my choice, so it resonates with me to be creative with it. I always work with black & white references then it gives me the freedom to work with the colours I think suit the subject.

I started my journey in portraiture but recently have delved into painting wildlife which I am enjoying.

A local gallery on the island has just recently featured my artwork which I was so thrilled about. It allows me to share my creativity to a wider audience which I incredibly grateful to them.

Each creation is a testament to my growth as an artist inviting the viewer to engage with the style I am developing as I go along my new journey.

For over the last 17 years I have been running a gift shop on the beautiful Isle of Arran in Scotland, which I so enjoy, there I can be as creative as I want to be. The shop definitely portrays my creativity together with my love of colour selling a beautiful selection of unique giftware.
